NEWS RELEASE

The Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village in Essex was the setting this past June 5 and 6th for it's annual Canadian Cancer Society sponsored Relay For Life. Each year this charity all-night walk continues to draw more and more participants. In 2007 this event raised $80,000, in 2008 $88,000 and this year's outing raised over $100,000. All proceeds go towards cancer research. Special thanks to the bands that performed, food servers and volunteers, and of course donors and participants.
