& Heritage Village NEEDS YOU!

Please support our pasta, all-you-can-eat-benefit-day running from noon to 8:00 pm.  The purpose is to help raise funds for the running of the museum and to support our childrens' education program.

Please, we count on your support!  Our volunteers give a lot to your community, this is an opportunity to show your appreciation.

Fun on Wheels Car Show

Sunday, June 13

Always a big success with 500 vehicles and 60 or more vendors. Breakfast buffet served 7:30am and light breakfast and BBQ lunch in our Village kitchen. Door prizes, cash awards for category winners, dash plaques, etc. Vendors free, $10 registration fee for show vehicles includes entrance fee for occupants.  $5 general admission. 2nd Annual All British Car Show
Sunday, July 11

$10 registration fee per show vehicle and $5 general admission for the public. Door prizes, awards, enjoy breakfast or lunch in our 50's Diner, tour our museum and village. We are licenced. For information call 519 733 5930 or 776 6909. Last year we had over 70 vehicles and this year we are expecting well over 100. So come out and enjoy yourself; compare your pride and joy with the other collectible British vehicles.

All car clubs are invited to spend the weekend at the Canadian Transportation Museum.

Arrive Saturday, eat at our 50’s Diner, tour the museum and visit the 25 historic buildings on site.  Tour the wineries and other historic sites in the area (we will guide you).  All auto flea market vendors welcome at no charge. Visit with the other car clubs.

Attend our Country Ho Down in the Village Saturday night with bon fires, good music and dancing with the best of food.  We are licenced.  Breakfast in the village on Sunday and head out in the afternoon.  Many bed and breakfasts and good motels in immediate area.  It will be a blast!

Car Club Weekend Itinerary

SATURDAY, July 17

  • 8:00 am to 9:30 am - Breakfast Buffet (runs to 10:00 am)
  • 10:00 am to 1:00 pm - Winery Tours (2 of them and anything else we can think of)
  • 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm - Lunch at the 50's Diner
  • 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm - Tour of Village and Museum
  • 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Freshen up (private time)
  • 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Burgers, Fries, Hot Dogs, Pop, etc. in our Village Kitchen
  • 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm - Country Hoe Down Entertainment and Dancing (Bar open at 4:00pm)

SUNDAY, July 18

  • 8:00 am to 11:00 am - Breakfast in our 50's Diner
  • 11:00 am to ? - Participants Departure

Military Muster Show

Over 100 WW II and Korean War vehicles on display with many tanks and bren gun carriers all driven on a 12 acre section of our 100 acre site, helicopter rides and fly overs.  Many veterans will be in attendance along with several WW I and WW II military vendors.  Join the period military convoy departing the War Museum in Ottawa and traveling to our show.  See Roman, War of 1812, WW I, and WW II reenacting.  Join us at our WW II-era Swing Dance featuring

  • 11:00 am Romans, War of 1812, WW I Demonstrations
  • 11:00 am to Noon a band will perform a musical interlude
  • 11:00 am to 12:30 pm the Windsor Spitfires will be on hand with the Memorial Cup
  • 12:30 pm Weapons Display and Military Drive-By
  • 1:30 pm WW II Re-enactment (Tracked Vehicles Normandy Attack - Pyrotechnics)
  • 3:30 pm Show Ends
